Traditional Hungarian dishes - Hungarian cooking experience at Chef Premiere

At ChefPremiere's Hungarian Cooking Experience, you can choose from two special menus - but if you like, you can also vary the dishes! The point is that your team will cook dishes that everyone will enjoy - and have an appetite for. Whether you're looking for a lighter, homely flavour or something a little more festive and rich, we've got something for you.

The "Small-Bourgeois Guest" menu is both nostalgic and heart-warming: we start with a round of casserole, followed by a silky seasonal cream soup and then the classic paprika chicken noodle - just like Grandma used to make. And finally, cottage cheese dumplings, a fitting end to this homey feast.

The "Lords' Favourite" menu is promising in name, and is indeed a showpiece of Hungarian cuisine: foie gras as a starter, followed by a thick, succulent goulash soup. The main course is mushroom paprikash with soft noodles, and the dessert is the legendary Gundel pancake - with chocolate, walnuts and rum, just the way we like it.

Come and experience the joy of cooking with us - Hungarian, from the heart, together!

Small-Bourgeois Guest

Kőrözött

The körözött is a true classic in Hungarian cuisine - a spicy cottage cheese cream that has its place on every family table. Served with fresh bread or crispy vegetables, it is the perfect start to a cosy feast.

Pálinka and wine tasting

Hungarian pálinka is a true national drink, made exclusively from fruit, which has been an indispensable part of the cuisine for centuries - strong, full of character and with every drop of fruit flavour. Hungarian wine regions such as Tokaj, Villány and Eger are known worldwide and offer specialities such as aszú and bikavér - tradition and quality go hand in hand.

Cheese and sausage tasting

Hungarian cheeses range from fresh cottage cheese to smoked gnocolya, with a variety of flavours and textures that reflect the richness of rural cheese culture and artisan traditions. Hungarian sausages, such as Csabai and Gyula, are spicy, full of character and unique in the world with their smoked paprika flavour - true pride of Hungarian gastronomy.

Seasonal cream soups

Seasonal cream soups are always a surprise, as they are made with the freshest ingredients of the season. Whether it's pumpkin, celeriac or fresh green peas, the result is always a silky, flavourful and warming dish.

With chicken paprika noodles

Chicken with paprika and noodles is the soul of Hungarian cuisine. Succulent, spicy chicken stewed in a thick sauce, served with noodles made according to the golden rule - there is no guest who wouldn't ask for a repet!

Cottage cheese dumplings

And then the crowning glory: cottage cheese dumplings with sour cream and powdered sugar - a light, sweet ending that leaves you saying, "That was really good!"

Lords' Favourite

Cream of foie gras

The menu starts with foie gras - a creamy, spicy starter that is one of the jewels of Hungarian gastronomy. Foie gras is a speciality worldwide, and here it is made from the best quality ingredients, served with fresh bread, toast or calacatta. With it, a bear's onion jam is like a hug for a kiss.

Goulash soup

Goulash soup is perhaps the best known Hungarian dish - a rich, spicy yet light beef soup with lots of vegetables, cumin and a pinch of paprika. A real warm-hearted, welcoming dish that everyone who tastes it for the first time will remember. Unmissable if you are in Hungary!

Mushroom paprikash

Mushroom and paprika noodles is a great vegetarian main course - mushrooms sauteed in a silky sour cream and paprika sauce, served with homemade dumplings. The surprisingly rich flavours that Hungarian cuisine is able to masterfully bring out of the ingredients nature provides.

Gundel pancake

Finally comes the Gundel pancake, the uncrowned king of Hungarian desserts: pancakes filled with walnuts, raisins and rum, topped with a silky chocolate sauce. One bite and you understand why it has become world famous.
